We made this boat trip in October when the sun had set for the year, so we had about 6 hours of amazing twilight as the sun skimmed below the horizon.

The sea in this part of Billefjorden is often rough.  Without the sunlit clouds and their reflection in the water this would have been a very cold and bleak painting.
