Meditation on Dried Cod, Longyearbyen, Svalbard

On one of my visits to Svalbard, my son Alex, was living in an apartment near the harbour.   This was the view from my bedroom window.   I like to start the day with a meditation, I became very fond of this practical, Norwegian scene, especially as the February sun shine was starting to touch the mountain tops for more time each day.   It is such a delight to see warm colours in the landscape after the dark and blues of the polar night.
